The Mazda Club of North America - May 22nd, 2008
The best information on any genre of automobile will always come from hardcore enthusiasts. They love their machines and they love getting technical about them. Enter the Mazda Club of North America at www.mazdaclub.com. This group is North America’s oldest and largest club for all Mazda cars, trucks and SUVs. There is absolutely no better resource for Mazda-related data, photos, videos, technical material, event notices, and a sense of community with other Mazda lovers.
The Mazda Club was established in 1988 in Chicago and currently offers magazines (OnlyWay), emagazines, and technical advice. Members share their recommendations on service, body and parts sources, and registration of your Mazda. The site has a long-standing a tradition of service and members can place free ads in voth the Mazda magazine and on the site itself.
A visit to the club’s homepage reveals a straightforward, well-organized interface with public access items in a list menu on the left, members only services in a similar menu on the right.
You can join online or send information via FAX or mail. Membership cost is $25 for a year, $45 for 2 years, or $65 for 3 years. A limited eMembership is $15. (See full Club Information and Membership Benefits under “What We Offer,” which is the top link in the left-hand menu.)

When I was checking out the site I made a bee line for the photo gallery. Yes, I’m a sucker for eye candy. simply scrolling through the thumbnails gives you an excellent idea of the great variety of models represented in the membership going back into the 70s. Videos show everything from the vehicles in action to presentations at car shows.
People who don’t love cars, don’t get sites like this any more than some of us don’t understand stamp collecting or bug collections. It’s all about finding a thing you love, learning all you can about it, and sharing that love and knowledge with others from the same tribe. If you belong to tribe Mazda, you should belong to the Mazda Club. You’ll feel right at home.
